to the aquarium
cause the turtles make her sad
pigeons don't fly when she walks among them
receiving secret thoughts, from her friends
she rides the trains, turning seats in the right direction
giant snow catchers pass her by
and they're bowing
but always with a smile
look! rain! someone yelled
and all the kids ran
to the left side of the class
where the windows are
have you never seen rain before?
she though in contempt and remained seated to her desk
Kyoto! it's you!
someone said, and she got up to look
and sure enough there she was
running through the empty court
with her hands
open to the sky
